Penny Millions Time Line

Penny Millions – start by finding one penny in public and doubling it until you reach 1 million dollars.

MY TIMELINE FROM START TO PRESENT

August 17, 2008 -

  • I found my first penny in the Wal-Mart parking lot.  Step 1 (0.01)

August 23, 2008 -

  • I found 71 cents at a car wash we stopped at on the way to a friend’s house.  Steps 2,3,4,5,6,7 (0.72)

August 25, 2008 -

August 26, 2008 -

  • We stopped by the car wash again on the way to the grocery store and I found 32 cents. — Step 9(4.28)

August 28, 2008 -

  • I went to the pharmacy for my brother and he gave me 75 cents for my trouble. — Step 10 (8.42)

September 14, 2008 -

  • Associated Content Article written “Taming Feral Cats and Hearing From God”  — no upfront payment, but will help with residual income from page views. — Step 12 (23.45)

September 22, 2008 -

  • When I joined Associated Content, they promised an additional $10 to anyone who submitted 5 articles before a certain date. I met that criteria, and received my $10 today. — Step 12 (33.45)

September 30, 2008 -

  • I submitted the first page of this blog to Associated Content. I did this primarily for advertising reasons, and because I have published it already, there will be no upfront payment.  This is also the day I began this blog.  — Step 12 (33.45)

October 8, 2008 -

  • Associated Content Article written “How to Take the Fuss Out of Bedtime” -  7.00 (the 7.00 was an up front offer because I had been unable to claim and publish previous  content due to website error…. I could submit any article and receive that amount, so I chose the Bedtime one) — Step 13 (48.45)

February 13, 2009 -

  • I worked for H&R Block for a little through the tax season.  Because this was the only income we had at the time, I could not count all of it toward Penny Millions, though that normally would have been the case, so I only applied a portion – 92.51   Step 15 (224.95)

February 25, 2009 -

  • Was paid for a “secret assignment” – 6.00   Step 15 (230.95)
  • Bought 241 shares of AIG at .36 cents a share for $100 (this includes the 12.95 charge) – Step 14 (130.95)
  • Sold a family member 20 shares of my aig stock for $20 – Step 14 (150.95)

April 20, 2009 -

Switched trading accounts to get lower fees upon each trade - Step 15 (280.47)

April 21, 2009 -

  • Bought 18.8735 shares of BAC stock– -153.00 – Step 14 (127.47)

April 26, 2009 -

Found a penny lying on the ground at Wal-Mart as we were checking out –  0.01 – Step 14 (127.48)

June 10, 2009 -

  • Received another set of performance payments (residual income) from Associated Content for the months of April and May  — 2.68 Step 12 (43.28)
